Bountiful Acres has been a cherished Bucks County landmark in Buckingham, PA, since 1955. What began as a simple roadside produce market has grown into a premier garden center and nursery spanning six beautifully maintained acres.

Even with our growth, we remain deeply committed to the family-owned spirit that makes every visitor feel at home. Many of our team members have been with us for more than 20 years, and multiple generations of the Flack family continue to be actively involved in daily life at the garden center. That continuity is felt the moment you arrive, creating a sense of genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and personal connection that has defined Bountiful Acres for decades.

Building a Legacy

Founded by the Jamison family (the same family behind Peddler’s Village) in 1955, Bountiful Acres started as a simple roadside produce stand with the idea that quality and community matter. It was the kind of place where neighbors waved from their cars, conversations happened naturally, and the best items were the ones grown with care and shared with pride.

In 1983, the Flack family purchased the property and began shaping the next chapter.

Over time, Bountiful Acres grew from a seasonal stop into the full-service garden center and landscaping company it is today, adding new offerings, expanding plant selections, and creating the kind of destination people look forward to visiting.

The goal was never growth for growth’s sake. It was to serve families in Bucks County better, year after year, with honest advice, healthy plants, and the friendly help that makes all the difference.

Paul and Rita Flack built the business with their family at the heart of everything, and that spirit still defines who we are.

While they were running day-to-day operations, their son David was studying horticulture at Penn State University, preparing for the future one class, one season, and one lesson at a time.

In 2007, when Paul and Rita retired, they passed the torch to David. Today, David and his wife, Christine, continue to lead Bountiful Acres with the same steady care, guiding the business forward while protecting what makes it special.

That sense of family extends well beyond the Flacks.

Many of our team members have been here for more than 20 years, and we are proud to have multiple generations of staff members. It’s not unusual to meet someone who started here as a teenager and stayed because it felt like home, or to see a parent and adult child working side by side. To us, those relationships are part of the legacy, too.

As Bountiful Acres has expanded, we have worked to keep our roots firmly planted in Bucks County.

We grow many of our own trees and shrubs on a 100-acre farm just down the road, which lets us care for plants from the earliest stages and stand behind the quality you take home.

And whether you’re stopping in for a favorite perennial, bringing the kids to enjoy the butterfly atrium, or partnering with our landscaping team to transform your outdoor space, we hope you feel what has always been at the heart of Bountiful Acres: a place built on care, built on community, and built to last.
